Learning to walk at night is an act of faith, as we learn from Genesis 12:1-4a; 15:1-7 and Romans 5:13-25. Kierkegaard said, “Faith sees best in the dark,” and we are reminded to stand firm even when we cannot see what is ahead of us.

We begin Lent thinking about Jesus’ time in the wilderness, from Matthew 4:1-11. We begin walking in the wilderness knowing that there are things in life we cannot control, but we can have faith and trust that God will provide that which we need.

Lifelong Discipleship Formation

Continuing with the Parable of the Sower from Luke 8:4-18 and adding Deut. 11:13-21 we thought about how our faith has been nurtured by others and how have we encouraged others. Our whole lives should be filled with Lifelong Discipleship Formation.
